Project Kiwi Trust is a kiwi conservation initiative saving North Island brown kiwi on the Kuaotunu Peninsula, near Whitianga on the Coromandel's east coast. Supporters, donations and sponsorship all play a key role in ensuring the future success of both the Trust and New Zealand's national icon.
Project Kiwi Race Night Event An Overwhelming Success!
Saturday 20 July saw Whitianga's finest race-goers turn out in all their finery in support of the Project Kiwi Trust. From race bookies to jockeys to ladies in hats & fascinators (and a few in Mexican sombreros) - the annual fundraising event was a sight to behold.
